(Hindustan Times-India) Shishir Gupta - After recent fighting on the Indo-Chinese border, India has increased technical drone surveillance of the area. While the army has been given clearance at the highest levels to acquire more drones, the Israeli Heron medium-altitude, long-endurance drone currently being used by the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) is providing technical surveillance of the area. India is also looking to acquire armed drones.
