(Jerusalem Post) Anna Ahronheim - The Israeli Navy and Israel Security Agency thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons into Gaza from northern Sinai several weeks ago, the IDF Spokesperson said Wednesday. The vessel being used to smuggle weapons was intercepted and two terrorist operatives on board were arrested. One detainee, senior smuggler Mahmoud Bakir, was indicted in the Beersheba District Court on June 4.
