(Daily Sabah-Turkey) Russia has started recruiting fighters in eastern Syria - including from the Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigade, made up of Palestinians in Syria - to join Gen. Khalifa Haftar's forces in Libya, the Deir al-Zour news outlet Naher reported Sunday. A similar transfer of 600 mercenaries from Syria's Homs province took place earlier.
