(Syrian Observer) For the second time in two weeks, a cargo aircraft flying from Iran to Syria has landed at the Russian Hemeimeem Airbase in Latakia. A source in Damascus said the reason for using the airbase is to avoid Israeli airstrikes, which have previously targeted Damascus International Airport.
