(Radio Free Europe-Radio Liberty) Nine pro-Iranian militiamen were killed in airstrikes on Monday night that targeted "military posts for Iranian militias" in the Palmyra desert in Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported. The slain militiamen included three Syrian nationals and some Hizbullah fighters.
