(Jerusalem Post) Seth J. Frantzman - Satellite images released by ImageSat International on April 8 revealed "evidence of a massive strike in Shayrat Airbase, located in Homs, Syria." The site was struck on March 31. The airstrikes may have been intended to interdict weapons transfers from Iran to Syria.
