Phone Tracking Identifies 1,500 Coronavirus Cases

(Ynet News) Tova Tzimuki - Tracking the movements of coronavirus patients through their cell phones has helped to identify more than 1,500 new cases of the virus, according to the Israel Security Agency. For the past two weeks, the Israeli Health Ministry has been routinely passing names of confirmed coronavirus patients to the ISA, which then tracked their phones, analyzing who was in their proximity in order to alert them to immediately enter quarantine.
