(Israel Antiquities Authority) A hoard of gold coins was found last week in Yavneh during excavations conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority. The coins, discovered in a broken clay juglet, include a gold dinar from the reign of the Caliph Haroun A-Rashid (786-809 CE).
