(Cyprus Mail) George Psyllides - An August report by Forbes about an Israeli-owned surveillance van in Cyprus, picked up by local media in November, prompted a reaction from the main opposition Akel party which demanded an explanation from the government over the presence of the vehicle. According to Forbes, the van can intercept WhatsApp messages, Facebook chats, calls, and all the contents of a smartphone.
