Lebanon Protests Rock Hizbullah's Grip on Power

It came as quite a shock when he criticized Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah. "I support the protest movement," he told me, noting that while some Hizbullah followers have clashed with protesters, others have joined the demonstrations. Bilal Saab, an analyst at the Middle East Institute in Washington, said the widespread nature of the protests "is certainly new, and it's not good news for the organization [Hizbullah]."
