Mideast Quartet Meets to Push for Peace

[AFP] The Middle East diplomatic Quartet on Monday called on Israelis and Palestinians to step up talks to end their conflict. A Quartet statement said the U.S.-brokered Annapolis process launched a year ago "is irreversible and these negotiations should be intensified in order to put an end to the conflict and to establish as soon as possible the state of Palestine, living side by side in peace and security with Israel."
