Since 1975, the percentage of Israelis with college degrees has soared. According to an OECD study, Israel has the third-most college graduates per capita in the world. Almost half of Israel's adult population now has a bachelor's degree. Tuition in publicly-funded institutions is about $2,800 per year, while tuition at private colleges could run three times higher.
