(Jerusalem Post-Insider NJ) Omri Nahmias - The House of Representatives approved the Palestinian International Terrorism Support Prevention Act on July 23, sponsored by Reps. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) and Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ). The bill imposes financial sanctions on people or agencies identified as assisting "Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad or any affiliate." The bipartisan bill was supported by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-NY) and Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX).
