(JTA) Marcy Oster - The Israel Defense Forces admitted Thursday that Mahmoud al-Adham, a member of the Hamas security forces, was trying to prevent Palestinian youths from breaking through the border fence rather than joining them. The admission of the error is unusual and is likely an effort to prevent more violence.
