(VOA News) Nike Ching - Brian Hook, the State Department's special representative for Iran, said in an interview Wednesday that the U.S. was "not looking to grant any new oil waivers. We did have to grant eight oil waivers in order to avoid shocking the global oil markets and causing a dramatic increase in the price of oil....We have already taken off more than half of Iran's oil exports in just a very few months."
