(Times of Israel) IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis said Monday that IDF special forces were on an intelligence-gathering mission inside Gaza. The soldiers "became trapped in a highly complex situation but they had responded heroically, hit those who threatened them and extracted themselves to Israeli territory."
