(AFP-Al Arabiya) UNRWA on Thursday received pledges of $118 million from donor countries to help it overcome a crisis triggered by U.S. funding cuts, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said. Kuwait and the EU were among the biggest contributors along with Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Turkey and Japan.
