(Deutsche Welle-Germany) The Bundestag's budget committee on Wednesday backed leasing a fleet of Israeli-made Heron-TP drones capable of carrying missiles in a $1 billion deal with Israel Aerospace Industries. The German army already flies Israel's Heron 1 surveillance aircraft in Mali and Afghanistan.
