(CNN) Hakim Almasmari - Former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed Monday by Houthi rebels as he tried to flee Sanaa, the capital. Two days earlier, Saleh announced the end of a three-year alliance with the Iranian-backed Houthis.
