(Center for Security Policy) Dr. Harold Rhode - Islam is not just a religion. It is a civilization which certainly includes religion but also includes important political and military dimensions. In order to understand the true nature of Islam, therefore, it would be more useful to label it an ideology. Our problems with Islam are not religious. But we do have serious problems with the political and military nature of Islam.
