(Ha'aretz) Amir Tibon - Qatar, known for supporting Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, has hired Stonington Strategies, a leading U.S. public-relations firm, in order to improve its image among the American Jewish community, O'Dwyer's reports. Qatar is currently suffering from regional pressure and isolation as a result of its ongoing dispute with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt, which accuse the emirate of supporting terror and using its influential satellite channel, Al-Jazeera, to encourage revolutions in other countries.
