Video: U.S. Military Testing Israeli Radiation Exposure Drug

(CNN) Oren Liebermann - The U.S. Department of Defense is testing an Israeli drug designed to help the body recover after exposure to radiation in the case of nuclear fallout. The U.S. is testing the medicine to see if it can be administered before service members are exposed to radiation. The test of what North Korea claimed to be a hydrogen bomb has increased the urgency here. The Israeli company Pluristem has partnered with the medical university at Fukushima, Japan, site of a 2011 nuclear meltdown, in developing the drug.
