(Israel Hayom) Ilan Gattegno - Researchers from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology have been selected by NASA to develop a Transient Astrophysics Observer, which will measure blasts of electromagnetic energy from outer space on the International Space Station. Technion researchers Ehud Behar and Shlomit Tarem have already developed a gamma ray detector.
