(Israel Institute of New Zealand) David Cumin - In a poll conducted by Curia Research of almost 1,000 kiwis, 55% expressed their support for Israel, compared to 13% against. The poll also asked about New Zealand's co-sponsorship of UN Security Council Resolution 2334 in December 2016 that demanded that "Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities." Only 27% believe the government was right to co-sponsor the resolution. 30% believe that New Zealand should have abstained and 43% are unsure.
