(Firstpost-India) Tara Kartha - Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can go deep into enemy territory and even loiter at a height that is in some cases more than that of a commercial aircraft. India has purchased Israel's Heron TP, said to be capable of travelling up to 36 hours, at a height above 30,000 ft. The writer is former director of India's National Security Council Secretariat.
