(Austin American-Statesman) Chuck Lindell - The Texas Senate on Wednesday approved legislation banning state contracts and investment in companies that boycott Israel, on a 25-4 vote. Texas should not do business with companies that participate in the "BDS" movement, which seeks to isolate Israel and disrupt its economy, said the bill's author, Sen. Brandon Creighton (R-Conroe).
