(IHS Jane's) Elbit Systems of America, a subsidiary of the Israeli firm, was awarded a contract to provide and field mortar fire control systems by the U.S. Army Contracting Command. The maximum value of the contract is $102 million over five years. The Elbit control system improves mission success with greater accuracy while reducing potential exposure to the enemy.
