(CNN) Laura Smith-Spark and Laura Goehler - A French soldier on duty near the Louvre museum in Paris opened fire on a man who attempted to attack him with a machete on Friday. The man had rushed toward a group of soldiers and guards shouting "Allahu akbar," said Michel Cadot, the Paris prefect. The man was taken into custody.
