U.S. Ambassador-Nominee Friedman to Reside in Jerusalem

(Ynet News) Itamar Eichner - The new U.S. Ambassador-nominee to Israel, David Friedman, has decided not to live in the ambassador's residence in Herzliya, and declared his intention to "work and live in Jerusalem," where he owns an apartment. Israel has decided not to take an active role in the campaign to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem since it is an internal, American decision and Israel cannot be perceived as pressuring the American government to make the move.
