(Guardian-UK) Didem Tali - An Israeli startup is making biodegradable diapers and female hygiene products out of jellyfish. Shachar Richter, a material scientist at Tel Aviv University who established Cine'al, found that the flesh of jellyfish could absorb liquid in large quantities. They added antibacterial nanoparticles to remove the sting.
