Iran Sentences Two Iranian-Americans to 10 Years in Jail

(Reuters) Bozorgmehr Sharafedin and Yeganeh Torbati - An Iranian court has sentenced Siamak Namazi, an Iranian-American businessman in his mid-40s, and Baquer Namazi, his 80-year-old father, to 10 years in prison on charges of spying and cooperating with the U.S. government, Iranian media reported on Tuesday. U.S. State Department deputy spokesman Mark Toner called for their immediate release.
