(Israel Hayom) Aharon Lapidot - Ahead of the Jewish year 5777, an Israel Hayom poll shows that 81% of Israel's Jewish, Hebrew-speaking population is proud to be Israeli. 59% of Jewish Israelis describe themselves as "happy," with only 8% saying they are "unhappy." 69% agreed that Israel is a good country in which to live, and 75% said they feel safer in Israel than abroad.
