(Globes) Yuval Azulai - The German army plans to rent five Heron TP unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) at a cost of 580 million euros. IAI UAVs previously leased to Germany were used in combat in Afghanistan. The German army selected the Heron TP over the U.S.-made Reaper and Predator.
