(Ma'an News-PA) Egyptian power lines to Gaza were out of order early Friday due to a sudden problem at the al-Arish power station, causing electricity blackouts in southern Gaza. At the beginning of May, Gaza had power for six-hour intervals followed by 12 hours without power for two weeks, due to a problem with the Egyptian power lines. In mid-May Gaza was to return to the usual schedule of eight hours with electricity followed by eight hours without power.
