Apple Has Invested $1.2 Billion in Israel

(Ynet News) Johny Srouji, senior vice president of hardware technologies at Apple, is responsible for Apple's 2011 decision to establish a development center in Israel. So far Apple has invested $1.2 billion in Israel and employs 800 Israelis, most of them hardware and software engineers, 400 of whom were recruited in the last two years. Apple Israel's employees work on the internal organs of iPhones, iPads, iMacs, and watches.
