Two Israeli Arabs Charged with Planning Attack on Soldiers

(Ynet News) Hassan Shaalan and Yoav Zitun - Mohammed Hassan 20, and Ahmad Saida, 23, residents of northern Israel, were charged on Thursday with supporting the Islamic State and planning a terror attack in the Galilee. They traveled to Turkey last May, where they met with an ISIS operative and tried to enter Syria. Then they met refugees who told them of the horrors happening in Syria, which led them to return to Israel. The two then started planning a terror attack in Israel on IDF soldiers and, to that end, Saida sought to purchase arms.
