It fills the gap between the Iron Dome short-range rocket interceptor and the Arrow ballistic missile interceptor, both already in service. Shlomo S., head of the project at Israeli defense firm Rafael, said: "We developed technologies that are the first of their kind in the world and have so far been considered science fiction....The goals and targets we had were achieved in full."
