(Ha'aretz) Jonathan Lis - An Israeli, Shmuel Benalal, 60, was among the 20 people killed Friday after Islamist militants attacked the Radisson hotel in Bamako, Mali. Benalal, an international consultant, was in Mali to help the government curb religious fundamentalist influences on the country's school system.
