(Times of Israel) Tamar Pileggi - Rabbi Howie Rothman suffered a number of blows to his head from an axe when he tried to fight off the terrorists who stormed the Bnei Torah Synagogue. His daughter Yaffa praised him for confronting the terrorists and saving others during the attack. The Toronto-born Rothman immigrated to Israel 30 years ago.
