(Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Some 590,000 people have been severely affected by the monsoonal floods across 12 of Myanmar's 14 states and regions since mid-July. Israel's Ambassador to Myanmar, Daniel Zonshine, in cooperation with MASHAV - Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation, delivered a relief cargo of dry food, hygiene kits, bed nets and medicines to a local hospital and to flood victims in the Bago region.
