Egypt, Facing Terrorism, Wants High-Tech American Border Security System

(Washington Post) Dan Lamothe - Egypt wants to buy high-tech American border surveillance equipment, the Pentagon said Wednesday, citing Cairo's desire to better monitor its border with Libya. The U.S. has agreed to supply Egypt with mobile surveillance sensor towers, communications equipment and training worth $100 million.
