(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel and Jack Khoury - Israel asked visiting chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey to increase U.S. aid to the Druze in Syria, where they are under attack from Sunni rebels. Druze leaders in Israel recently appealed to the political and military leadership in Israel to help their brethren in Syria after a massacre took place in a Druze village in northern Syria last Wednesday.
