(Telegraph - UK) Inna Lazareva - The Palestinian Football Association (PFA) dropped their bid to suspend Israel from the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) in a dramatic U-turn. Jibril Rajoub, the head of PFA, said the change of tack came due to pressure from dozens of presidents of football associations around the world who called on him not to put Israel's suspension to a vote. "It does not mean that I give up the resistance," said Mr Rajoub on Friday.
