Romania Unveils Israeli-Made Biometric Identification Device

[Jerusalem Post] Rebecca Anna Stoil - Romanian police will begin using Israeli-designed technology to help identify criminals. The system was developed by Motorola Israel and is able to identify and break down fingerprints and palm prints. The system is able to quickly search and find similarities with information in existing criminal files and databases. In 2006, Motorola operated a similar system within the Miami Dade Police Department, and the police there reported that they solved seven cold homicide cases using the new system.
