[domain-B-India] Ireland's department of defense has confirmed that a contract was signed in May with Aeronautics Defense Systems Ltd (ADS) of Israel for two Orbiter robot spy planes for $1.1 million. The UAV selected by Ireland is one of the smallest available, and can fit into a soldier's backpack. It is equipped with day and night cameras, can be assembled in 10 minutes, has a 15 km range, and can fly for an hour and a half. Israel also recently won a $3.42 million order for 12,000 helmets for Ireland's defense forces.
