Egypt's President Replaces Influential Intelligence Chief

(New York Times) David D. Kirkpatrick - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Sunday named Khaled Fawzy, a top deputy in the intelligence service, as acting chief of general intelligence to succeed Sisi's friend and mentor, Gen. Mohamed Farid el-Tohamy, who was leaving for medical reasons.
