Israeli Dairy-Tech Firm Acquired in $250 Million Deal

(Ha'aretz) Inbal Orpaz - SCR, an Israeli company that makes systems for monitoring dairy cows, has been acquired by the U.S. company Allfex for $250 million under an agreement signed on Thursday. SCR CEO Yariv Avisar said being acquired by Allflex will enable his firm to expand to new markets and develop products faster and more comprehensively than it could as an independent company. The company says that more than 13 million cows are monitored and milked using its technology.
