(Jewish Chronicle-UK) Nathan Jeffay - In January, Tel Aviv-based StoreDot will give industry experts a glimpse of a new smartphone battery that uses nanotechnology to absorb a day's worth of power in just 30 seconds. The battery could be ready for commercial use within a year, said StoreDot's founder and chief executive Doron Myersdorf. He added that the same technology will be applied to electric vehicles and could power a car for 200 miles in five minutes.
