(Jerusalem Post) The Biobee company at Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu has sent 380 million sterilized flies to Croatia to help fight fruit fly populations in the country's citrus orchards. The Israeli company devises natural biological methods to fight pests in agriculture in order to decrease reliance on harmful pesticides.
