(Daily Mail-UK) Matt Chorley - Police and security services have thwarted 40 terrorist plots in Britain since the July 7, 2005, attacks, British Home Secretary Theresa May revealed Monday. The foiled atrocities included "marauding" "Mumbai-style" gun attacks, an attempt to blow up the London Stock Exchange and airplanes, and attempts to murder troops and a British ambassador.
